Operator and contact

Moonfolio is a personal project operated by Lucas Savioli Scaravelli under the Telescope Espresso name. For privacy requests, account or content removal, and other questions, contact telescopeespresso@gmail.com.

Your account

Provide accurate account information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not impersonate someone else or use accounts to evade moderation. You must be legally able to agree to these Terms, or have the authorization of a parent or guardian where required.

Contributing observations

Upload only material you created or have permission to share, including any necessary permissions from people whose information appears in it. Do not submit illegal content, harassment, private personal information, malware, spam, or material that infringes another person’s rights. Do not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or misuse other users’ information.

Ownership and permission

You retain ownership of your contributions. By submitting content, you grant Moonfolio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, process, and display it as needed to operate the service, including generating previews and showing approved observations with your profile attribution. This permission allows our service providers to perform those tasks on our behalf. It does not transfer ownership or give other visitors a general license to reuse your work.

You may request removal using the contact above. Permission ends when the content is removed from the service, except for copies retained for backup, legal obligations, or resolving disputes. We cannot remove copies independently saved or shared by other people.

Review and moderation

Submissions are reviewed before publication. Our Methodology describes the atlas used as our main reference and the administrator’s qualitative review of visual appeal, clarity, and alignment with the lunar regions presented in the book and on the site. Publication is at the administrator’s discretion; approval is not guaranteed, even when a submission meets technical upload requirements.

We may reject, restrict, or remove content, or suspend accounts, for violations of these Terms, legal requirements, or security reasons. Contact us to report a problem or request review of a moderation decision. Copyright reports should identify the work, the allegedly infringing content and its URL, your relationship to the rights holder, and a way to contact you.

Using the collection

Moonfolio is an exploration and educational tool. Observations, region selections, and descriptions may contain errors and should not be relied on for navigation or precise scientific measurements. Respect contributors’ copyright and obtain permission before reusing their work unless an applicable license or law permits it. External websites have their own terms and privacy practices.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided as available and may change or experience interruptions. We do not promise continuous availability or permanent storage of uploads; keep your own copies. To the extent permitted by law, we do not provide warranties about accuracy, availability, or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or removes rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

Privacy and ending your account

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. You may stop using Moonfolio at any time and request account deletion through the contact above. Any retention required by law or for resolving disputes is described in that policy.

Changes to these Terms

We will post updated Terms here with a new date and provide notice of material changes where required. If a change requires renewed agreement, we will request it. These Terms remain subject to applicable law and do not limit mandatory protections available to you.
